Collaborise Charter
Our commitment
At Collaborise, we believe that our greatest wealth is other people.
Each Agora is an opportunity to listen, understand, share, and grow through contact with people we probably would never have met otherwise.
This charter sets out the principles that allow every Collaborien to experience this in a climate of trust, respect, and kindness.
1. Respect and kindness
Each Collaborien commits to welcoming others with respect, open-mindedness, and kindness.
Discriminatory, hateful, defamatory, insulting, aggressive, or humiliating remarks have no place within Collaborise.
2. Listening before speaking
An Agora is, above all, a space for listening.
Each member commits to respecting others' speaking time, listening without interrupting, and welcoming different opinions with curiosity and respect.
Because understanding is often more valuable than convincing.
3. Authenticity
At Collaborise, there is no role to play and no image to build.
Every Collaborien is invited to express themselves with sincerity, humility, and authenticity.
What matters is neither social status, profession, nor qualifications, but the person you are.
4. Diversity and inclusion
Collaborise deliberately brings together people of different ages, professions, cultures, and backgrounds.
This diversity is the very richness of the Agoras.
Each member is invited to welcome these differences as an opportunity to learn and broaden their perspective.
5. Neutrality
Agoras are not intended to convince, but to understand.
Collaborise is not a platform for political, ideological, or religious promotion.
Discussions take place with respect for everyone's beliefs, without proselytism or any intention to influence other participants.
6. Confidentiality
Trust lies at the heart of Collaborise.
Agoras are never recorded.
Each member is free to share what they learned or took away from an encounter, but never another participant's personal information, experiences, or words without their explicit consent.
What is shared in an Agora belongs first and foremost to the people taking part.
7. Responsibility and commitment
Each Collaborien is responsible for their words, actions, and their impact on others.
Participating in an Agora is also a commitment to the other members.
An absence deprives several people of a connection they had chosen.
To preserve the quality of the community, two unjustified absences from Agoras within a twelve-month period result in the account being automatically deactivated for twenty-four months.
8. Ethics
Each Collaborien acts with honesty, loyalty, and fairness.
Collaborise rejects all forms of manipulation, harassment, intimidation, abuse of power, or behavior contrary to its values.
9. Respect for time and the planet
The time each member devotes to an Agora is a gift offered to the other participants.
Collaborise encourages useful, responsible, and accessible encounters while limiting travel through video conferencing.
10. Protecting the community
Respect for this charter is essential to the proper functioning of Collaborise.
In the event of serious or repeated non-compliance, Collaborise may suspend or exclude a member to preserve the community's quality, safety, and trust.
Conclusion
Collaborise is not just a platform.
It is a community of women and men who believe that behind every screen is a person, that every journey deserves to be heard, and that the most meaningful encounters are often those we did not anticipate.
By joining Collaborise, each member freely embraces this shared commitment and contributes, through their listening, respect, and kindness, to bringing a human, ethical, and intergenerational community to life.
